AP French Language and Culture Tutor

About the role

Varsity Tutors is seeking experienced AP French Language and Culture tutors to join its Live Learning Platform. You will work remotely, providing one‑on‑one online instruction to high‑school students preparing for the AP French exam.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver personalized tutoring sessions using the Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform.
• Prepare and adapt lesson plans that cover grammar, vocabulary, cultural topics, and AP‑style tasks.
• Utilize the AI‑powered Tutor Copilot for real‑time instructional support and lesson generation.
• Invoice for completed sessions and receive payment up to twice per week.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide feedback.

Required profile

• Deep mastery of French grammar, including subjunctive, conditional tenses, and relative pronouns.
• Experience teaching thematic content such as families, science, contemporary life, and global challenges.
• Familiarity with the AP French Language and Culture curriculum and common student challenges.
• Ability to explain concepts using multiple approaches and adapt to diverse learning styles.
• Strong communication skills and an engaging, friendly teaching style.
