Business Consultant

About the role

Vensure Employer Solutions, a privately held HR technology and service provider serving over 95,000 businesses, is hiring a Business Consultant who works on-site in a dynamic, global company. The consultant identifies and cultivates new business through networking, channel partners and self-generated leads, owns the full sales cycle including post-sale and implementation, negotiates pricing and scope, and meets monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities in the assigned territory and expand knowledge of industry trends, products, services and broker practices
• Analyze competitor initiatives and prepare client presentations with executive summaries
• Use CRM (Salesforce) to track activities and develop lead generation strategies
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas and complete new business paperwork, expense reports and weekly activity reports
• Take part in monthly consulting meetings and coach other team members
• Frequent domestic travel to client sites, conferences and training sessions, including air travel

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; at least two years of sales experience preferred
• Valid, non-restrictive driver's license due to regular travel to client sites
• No licenses or certifications required

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce or similar) preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong negotiation, closing and presentation skills
