Business Associate I

About the role

The Business Associate I provides general administrative support for business activities within Texas A&M AgriLife Research. Working under general supervision, the role ensures compliance with policies and handles routine office tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with AgriLife policies, state and federal laws.
• Process travel vouchers, generate purchase orders, and pay invoices.
• Manage vehicle and check logs, mail sorting, package receiving, and receiving log.
• Answer telephone inquiries, route calls and visitors, and maintain building maintenance and fire alarm logs.
• Operate the copy room, assist users, and support special projects.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Three years of experience in general office operations.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to multi‑task and work cooperatively with others.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of spreadsheet and word‑processing software.
• Familiarity with Aggie Buy, Laserfiche, Famis, Concur, and IPayment systems.
