Bus Driver & Custodian – Preschool Transport

About the role
DAEOC is seeking a reliable bus driver who will also provide custodial support at our center in Caruthersville. The role involves transporting preschool students to Head Start locations while maintaining a safe, clean and health‑ful environment on the bus and in the center.
Key responsibilities
- Drive a school bus safely to and from designated Head Start sites, transporting pre‑school children and staff.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary and health‑compliant interior of the bus.
- Secure the vehicle and ensure it is mechanically sound at all times.
- Perform custodial duties in the center for candidates selected for the full‑time position.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED.
- 3–6 months of related experience or equivalent training.
- Valid Missouri Class A or B CDL with passenger endorsement.
- Minimum age of 25 years (insurance requirement).
- Ability to provide proof of education when interviewed.
Required skills
- Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with passenger endorsement.
