Brass and Woodwinds Teacher (Part‑Time)

About the role

Ensemble Performing Arts is looking for an experienced, professional music instructor to teach brass, woodwinds, and piano on a part‑time basis at Flatts and Sharpe Music Company locations in Norwood Park and Rogers Park, Chicago.

Key responsibilities

• Provide in‑person private instruction for brass, woodwinds, and piano to students of various ages and skill levels.
• Maintain consistent availability within the school’s open hours, with preference for candidates offering greater flexibility.
• Ensure punctuality, reliable transportation, and adherence to school policies, including passing a background check.

Required profile

• Degree in piano or music performance, pedagogy, or equivalent professional experience.
• Demonstrated love of teaching and experience working with young musicians.
• Reliable transportation and ability to pass a routine background check.

Required skills

• Proficiency in teaching brass instruments.
• Proficiency in teaching woodwind instruments.
• Proficiency in teaching piano.
