About the role

Ensemble Music Schools seeks a fun, experienced, and professional substitute music teacher to teach piano, voice, or guitar at Bucktown Music in Chicago. The position is on‑site and part‑time, providing flexible hours for qualified educators.

Key responsibilities

Provide in‑person substitute instruction for piano, voice, or guitar classes.
Maintain punctuality, reliable transportation, and a professional classroom environment.

Required profile

Degree in piano, music performance, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience.
Demonstrated love of teaching and experience working with young musicians.
Ability to pass a routine background check.

Required skills

Piano proficiency.
Voice (vocal) proficiency.
Guitar proficiency.
