About the role

We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Classic Benign Hematologist to join Ochsner MD Anderson Cancer Center’s multi‑specialty group in Covington, Louisiana. The position offers a collaborative environment with access to research, teaching, and a broad network of specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive hematology‑oncology patient care within a multidisciplinary team.
• Participate in weekly call rotation shared across the region.
• Collaborate with hospital consultants and specialists throughout the Ochsner Health System.
• Engage in clinical research and teaching opportunities.

Required profile

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Classic Benign Hematology.
• Flexibility to work a schedule that includes shared call rotation.
• Commitment to collaborative, multi‑disciplinary patient care.

Required skills

• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record system.
