Bistro Server – Full‑Time at Atlantic Oceanside Hotel

About the role

Join the Bistro at the Atlantic Oceanside Hotel and Event Center as a full‑time server. You will provide attentive, personalized table service to hotel guests and local visitors, helping to create a welcoming dining atmosphere in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and deliver friendly, knowledgeable service throughout their dining experience.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Deliver meals and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards.
• Answer guest questions about menu items, daily specials, and beverage selections.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and respond quickly to requests or concerns.
• Process payments accurately using the point‑of‑sale system.
• Assist with opening and closing side work, including setting tables, stocking stations, and maintaining cleanliness.
• Collaborate with kitchen and front‑of‑house teams to ensure exceptional service.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company service standards.

Required profile

• Previous restaurant serving experience preferred, but not required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast‑paced setting.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to stand, walk for extended periods and lift up to 40 lb.
• Reliable, punctual, and team‑oriented.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency with point‑of‑sale system operation.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
