About the role

Join STI Federal as a Biological Materials Handler supporting a CDC contract. You will provide logistics and shipping support for biological materials, ensuring safe, compliant, and timely transport for public‑health initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Verify permits, declarations, and packaging to meet domestic and international regulations for inbound and outbound shipments.
• Coordinate international shipments, working closely with the CDC shipping office to ensure compliance.
• Pack biological materials accurately, complete all required paperwork, and confirm shipment contents before release.
• Track shipments, maintain records, and upload documentation to the VSDB shipping database for audit readiness.
• Respond promptly to shipping requests, log invoices for payment, and support coordination across stakeholders.
