Continuous Improvement Engineer II

About the role

Stord is looking for a Continuous Improvement Engineer II to join its Operational Excellence team. In this position you will help launch new fulfillment centers and scale the company’s warehousing network through data‑driven analysis and hands‑on implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Design and optimize material flow, capacity planning, and warehouse layouts using CAD tools.
• Analyze inventory profiles, storage utilization, and inventory turns to recommend efficient workflows.
• Evaluate and select warehousing technologies, including automation and robotics, for new site launches.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to implement operational solutions and track performance improvements.
• Support procurement of supply‑chain hardware and software solutions.

Required profile

• Experience in continuous improvement or process engineering within logistics, warehousing or manufacturing environments.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively across engineering, operations and technology teams.

Required skills

• CAD software for facility design.
• Automation and robotics systems knowledge.
• Data analysis techniques and tools.
