Bilingual Outside Sales Representative (French/English)

About the role

The Bilingual Outside Sales Representative will work in the field, promoting TOTO’s residential and commercial plumbing products across the assigned Canadian territory. This role requires fluent French and English communication to build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, developers, municipalities and other key stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and initiate sales with residential and commercial plumbing contractors, builders, developers, mechanical contractors, municipalities and building maintenance personnel.
• Visit showrooms regularly, increase TOTO product presence, and identify new showroom opportunities.
• Maintain showroom binders, manage literature requests, update displays and lead product‑knowledge training sessions.
• Conduct distributor and wholesaler visits, set and achieve monthly sales targets, and act as liaison between distributors, manufacturers and contractors.
• Follow up on orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve any customer complaints regarding product defects or service issues.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing contractors while establishing new contacts to expand market penetration.
• Oversee the professional presentation of TOTO products in showrooms and display areas.

Required profile

• Bilingual proficiency in French and English (reading, writing, speaking) is mandatory.
• Proven experience selling plumbing or related construction products to contractors, developers or municipal clients.
• Strong ability to travel within the assigned territory and work independently in a field‑based environment.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
