About the role

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Lead Teacher to design and deliver age‑appropriate curriculum covering literacy, numeracy, social‑emotional and physical development in French.
• Plan and execute engaging lesson plans tailored to preschool children’s needs.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Apply behavior‑management techniques and positive reinforcement to support social skills.
• Prepare, set up, and clean up materials for daily activities.
• Promote French language acquisition through storytelling, songs, games, and conversation.
• Communicate regularly with parents about progress, behavior, and milestones.
• Ensure compliance with childcare regulations and safety protocols.

Required profile

• Fluent in French with strong communicative English skills.
• Passion for early childhood education and a compassionate, nurturing approach.
• Experience or interest in curriculum development for preschool settings (preferred).
• Understanding of child development principles, including special‑education needs (preferred).
• Familiarity with literacy, math, Montessori methods, and classroom management (preferred).
