Banquet & Event Staff – Part‑Time

About the role

Join High Spirits Hospitality as a Banquet & Event Staff member and help bring a wide range of events to life. This part‑time, gig‑style position lets you work flexible evening and weekend shifts at some of the Upstate’s biggest venues, supporting everything from corporate gatherings to athletic events.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, reset, and break down event spaces, including tables, chairs, décor, buffet stations and bars.
• Bus tables, restock supplies, monitor buffets, and support food service throughout events.
• Wash, dry, polish, sort and store dishes, glassware and other service items.
• Support general event operations such as stocking, cleaning, trash removal and other behind‑the‑scenes tasks.
• Move equipment and supplies between venues and keep storage areas organized.
• Assist with athletic events by handling guest entry, access control, bag checks and ID verification.

Required profile

• Comfortable performing a variety of event duties, including setup, food service, dishwashing and guest entry tasks.
• Willing to complete alcohol‑related support duties in line with company policy and law.
• Respectful, inclusive and able to serve clients of all backgrounds with professionalism.
• Dependable, hardworking and able to thrive in a fast‑paced, physically active environment.
• Clear English communication skills and ability to use smartphones or digital tools for schedules and documentation.
• Flexible to work frequent evenings, weekends and occasional holidays; must be able to work Saturdays by 4 PM.
• At least 19 years old, reliable transportation, own a cell phone with voice, text and data.
• Able to pass background and drug screenings and authorized to work in the United States.

What we offer

• Hourly pay of $16–$18 depending on shift and assignment.
