AWS Redshift Data Architect

About the role

Infosys is seeking an AWS Redshift Data Architect to join its Financial Services unit in Raleigh, NC. The role focuses on designing and implementing data solutions on Amazon Redshift for banking, wealth management and insurance clients.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with customers to gather and analyse system requirements for performance, security and scalability.
• Provide solution architecture recommendations, contribute to technology framework development and support enterprise architecture definition.
• Identify and evaluate market technologies and tools to propose optimal architectural solutions.
• Develop integration strategies and validate proof‑of‑concept implementations.
• Ensure knowledge transfer, quality standards and support build‑and‑deployment automation.
• Collaborate with development teams to resolve complex technical issues during build, deployment and support phases.
• Analyse system performance of implemented architectures and identify potential risks.
• Create architectural artifacts and documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in solution architecture and design for cloud‑based data platforms.
• Strong understanding of performance, security and scalability considerations.
• Ability to conduct technology assessments and comparative analysis.
• Experience working with cross‑functional development teams.
