AVP Provider Performance

About the role

The AVP Provider Performance leads provider productivity, patient access, capacity management, and clinic template optimization across assigned regions. Partnering with physicians, APPs, and operational leaders, this role drives strategies that improve performance, utilization, and financial sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead provider productivity, access, capacity, utilization, and template optimization initiatives across regions.
• Partner with the System Chief Medical Officer to develop strategies that enhance physician and APP productivity and financial performance.
• Monitor and benchmark provider performance using wRVUs, visits, procedures, panel size, and session utilization.
• Establish and maintain access, scheduling, and clinic template standards to improve efficiency.
• Use analytics and dashboards to identify trends, benchmark performance, and support workforce decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Finance, Operations Management, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in healthcare operations, provider productivity, patient access, or performance improvement.
• Experience leading major operational improvement initiatives and managing multi‑site projects.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
