Aviation Project Manager – Honolulu Airport Projects

About the role

Parsons is seeking a talented Aviation Project Manager to join its Critical Infrastructure team and help improve Honolulu Airport. You will work on a large airfield capital improvement program that spans all 15 state airports.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, manage or support a portfolio of airfield projects through design, construction and close‑out phases.
• Coordinate interactions with FAA, airlines and other government agencies.
• Guide multidisciplinary teams—including designers, construction managers and planners—through HDOT policies and procedures.
• Review and provide guidance on design and construction issues such as change orders, delay claims, quality concerns and construction phasing.
• Evaluate, monitor and track permitting status and support pre‑bid activities.

Required profile

• Professional Engineering license or equivalent is required.
• Ability to obtain an Air Operations Area (AOA) badge and movement‑area license for airfield access.
• No security clearance is required.
