Automotive Service Technician

About the role

Mercedes‑Benz of Hampton is seeking certified automotive service technicians to join a clean, safe, and temperature‑controlled shop. The role offers a supportive work culture with plenty of work and opportunities for advancement.

Key responsibilities

• Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently while adhering to dealership policies.
• Test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment; conduct test drives.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems.
• Communicate directly with Service Advisors to keep customers informed of additional service needs.
• Complete online multi‑point inspection reports and execute warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years experience as an automotive technician.
• Strong work ethic and ability to learn quickly.
• Good written and verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Team player with a clean driver’s license.

Required skills

• Proficiency with diagnostic tools.
• Experience operating electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Computer literacy for shop software and online reporting.
