Automotive Service Technician – Full-Time

About the role

Classic Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram of Goldsboro is seeking experienced Automotive Service Technicians to join a clean, temperature‑controlled shop environment. You will work directly with Service Advisors and customers to ensure vehicles are repaired safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Test drive vehicles before and after repairs to verify performance.
• Identify required repairs and maintenance, estimate parts, and document all work.
• Complete online multi‑point inspection reports and communicate findings to Service Advisors.
• Perform services according to dealership/manufacturer guidelines and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an automotive technician.
• Valid driver’s license and clean criminal background.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Strong organizational skills, detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Good written and verbal communication, customer service, and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with automotive diagnostic tools.
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
