About the role

The Automotive Service Manager leads the service department at Mills Auto Group, ensuring high customer satisfaction, efficient operations, and profitable performance. This full‑time, on‑site role reports directly to senior leadership and combines team supervision with strategic revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise service technicians and support staff.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction through timely, quality service.
• Analyze expenses and drive profitability of the department.
• Develop and execute strategies to increase service revenue.
• Review and approve service estimates and invoices for accuracy.
• Oversee parts inventory, ordering, and supply management.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Train, mentor, and motivate employees to meet individual and team goals.
• Handle customer escalations and resolve service‑related issues.
• Stay current on industry trends to identify growth opportunities.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience managing an automotive service department.
• Proven track record of running a profitable service operation.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and communication abilities.
• Deep knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance processes.
• Familiarity with dealership software and systems.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
• Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
