Audit Senior Associate – Private Sector

About the role

PwC Private is looking for an Audit Senior Associate to join its private‑company practice. In this role you will lead audit engagements, build strong client relationships and help drive the adoption of new firm technology for private‑sector clients.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and supervise financial statement audits for private companies, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Mentor junior team members, review their work and provide constructive feedback.
• Identify and analyse complex accounting and control issues, proposing practical solutions.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their business context and anticipate their needs.
• Leverage emerging firm technology to improve audit efficiency and quality.

Required profile

• University degree in accounting, finance or a related discipline.
• Professional audit qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) or progress towards it.
• At least 3‑5 years of experience in financial statement audit, preferably with private‑sector clients.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build trusted client relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to work in ambiguous situations and deliver high‑quality outcomes.
