Associate Vice President, Paid Media

About the role

Join an integrated strategy and marketing agency as an Associate Vice President, Paid Media, leading client relationships and driving high‑impact paid media strategies for multiple accounts. The role is based in the Washington, D.C. or New York City metro area and operates in a hybrid work model.

Key responsibilities

• Own day‑to‑day client relationships across small accounts or large workstreams, managing timelines, deliverables, and proactive issue resolution.
• Lead strategic development of integrated paid media plans, including platform selection, budget allocation, and measurement frameworks to ensure ROI.
• Design and execute direct‑response fundraising campaigns, focusing on donor acquisition, conversion optimization, and ROAS.
• Oversee campaign execution and finance operations, guiding junior staff while directly launching and optimizing campaigns as needed.
• Guide reporting and insights creation, delivering strategic recommendations and clear communication of complex media plans.

Required profile

• 8+ years of agency experience in paid media programming, strategy, and management.
• Proven track record in lower‑funnel, direct‑response advertising and fundraising campaigns.
• Meticulous attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative, energetic, entrepreneurial mindset and experience mentoring junior talent.
