Associate Therapist – Outpatient Mental Health Services

About the role

Clear Behavioral Health seeks an Associate Therapist to deliver individual and group psychotherapy to adult and adolescent clients in an outpatient setting. The role involves providing intensive therapeutic care from admission through discharge while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide up to 25 client‑facing service hours per week, including intensive individual psychotherapy and evidence‑based group sessions.
• Complete suicide risk assessments, crisis safety plans, and maintain comprehensive treatment documentation.
• Participate in weekly clinical meetings, develop and update individualized treatment plans, and coordinate care with other counselors.
• Facilitate a safe recovery environment by modeling healthy boundaries, supporting staff communication, and mentoring less‑experienced therapists.

Required profile

• Registered Therapist status (e.g., AMFT, ACSW, APCC, LMFT, LCSW, LPCC) with a Master’s degree.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience working with adult and adolescent mental health populations.
• Ability to diagnose behavioral health disorders, conduct ongoing assessments, and involve family members when appropriate.
