Associate, Global Donation Operations

About the role

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is seeking a detail‑oriented Associate for its Global Donation Operations (GDO) team in New York. You will support the timely processing of donations, maintain accurate records, and ensure data integrity across multiple platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Batch, scan, and deposit daily donations (checks, credit cards, etc.).
• Create, update, and maintain donation records in the IRC system.
• Review daily/weekly quality‑control reports and develop new reports as needed.
• Perform daily data‑hygiene tasks and resolve incoming department cases.
• Execute data imports and exports between donation platforms.
• Coordinate with the caging vendor to ensure smooth entry and processing of donations.
• Collaborate with Supporter Care to update matching and sustainer gifts per donor requests.
• Process refund and chargeback requests promptly.
• Build reports that support overall fundraising objectives.
• Participate in special projects and stay current on technology advancements.
