Associate Director, Global Entrepreneurship

About the role

The Associate Director, Global Entrepreneurship will partner directly with the Vice President to shape and deliver Northeastern University’s worldwide entrepreneurship agenda. This senior leadership position blends strategic planning with hands‑on execution to grow the 300 Mass Ave hub and strengthen entrepreneurship across the university’s global network.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination and execution of strategic initiatives that expand entrepreneurship across all campuses.
• Develop governance documents, performance metrics and reports to track progress of the Global Entrepreneurship Strategy.
• Drive the development and operational leadership of the 300 Mass Ave hub, creating programs, founder engagement and community activities.
• Build and manage partnerships with corporations, investors, accelerators, government agencies and innovation organizations.
• Deliver flagship entrepreneurship programs, competitions and international events, representing Northeastern at external conferences.
• Provide leadership to the Global Entrepreneurship team, prepare executive communications and monitor KPIs for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Significant experience in entrepreneurship, innovation, venture creation or higher‑education ecosystems.
• Proven ability to lead complex, multi‑stakeholder strategic projects.
• Excellent relationship‑building, communication and influencing skills.
• Commercial awareness, entrepreneurial mindset and confidence engaging senior leaders, founders and investors.
• Willingness to travel internationally and work collaboratively across a fast‑paced environment.
• Desirable experience includes founding or scaling a start‑up, working with venture capital, accelerators or developing international partnerships.
