Associate Director, Channel Management

About the role

Horizon Commerce, part of Horizon Media, is looking for an Associate Director, Channel Management to lead digital shelf strategy and execution across key retail platforms and marketplaces such as Amazon, Walmart and Target. This is a commerce, digital shelf and retail content role, not a paid media buying role, based in New York on a hybrid basis.

Key responsibilities

• Lead digital shelf and product content strategy, evaluate product detail pages and set retailer-specific content standards and scorecards
• Own PIM, catalog and content syndication operations, including catalog health, troubleshooting and new product launches
• Manage Amazon programs such as Vendor Central/Seller Central, Born to Run and Vine
• Evaluate product and category performance and turn data into actionable recommendations
• Lead seasonal and promotional readiness plans for events like Prime Day, Cyber Week and Back-to-School
• Serve as a strategic partner to client stakeholders, lead client business reviews and collaborate with internal teams

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in eCommerce, digital shelf, retail marketplace management, retail content, merchandising or channel management
• Strong knowledge of Amazon, Walmart and Target, and hands-on experience with PIM/PXM or content syndication platforms
• Ability to analyze product-level sales and commerce data and present to senior client stakeholders
• Preferred: CPG, beauty or personal care experience, and agency or consulting experience across multiple clients

• Digital shelf analytics platforms (e.g. Pacvue, Profitero, CommercelQ, Stackline, Salsify Insights, Jungle Scout, MerchantSpring)
• Project management and strong communication skills
