Associate Director, Admissions

About the role

The Office of Graduate Studies at the University of Miami seeks a full‑time Associate Director, Admissions to lead recruitment and admission outreach for undergraduate and graduate programs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of admission professionals in developing and executing recruitment strategies and event calendars.
• Oversee campus visit programs, information sessions, webinars, and special events.
• Manage the travel recruiting budget and assess strategy effectiveness using enrollment data.
• Direct the administration, configuration, and continuous improvement of admissions application systems, including Slate.
• Ensure data integrity, reconciliation, analysis, and reporting for leadership and accreditation needs.
• Develop standardized admissions guidance, training resources, and internal controls.
• Supervise staff and student employees, handling work assignments, coaching, and performance evaluations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum five years of relevant experience, preferably in graduate admissions or enrollment management.

Required skills

• Experience with admissions application systems, specifically Slate.
• Proficiency in data analytics and reporting tools such as Power BI.
