The University of Maryland, College Park seeks a tenure‑track Assistant Professor of English specializing in Poetry to join its vibrant creative writing program beginning August 2027.

Key responsibilities

Required profile

Strong reputation in creative writing with a primary publication record in poetry.
At least one full‑length poetry book published by a nationally recognized publisher.
MFA in poetry or PhD (preferred) in English literature/creative writing with a focus on poetry.
