About the role
The University of Maryland’s Division of Information Technology is seeking a Training Developer Specialist to join the Elevate team. The role designs and develops high‑quality training content such as e‑learning modules, user guides, presentations, and micro‑learning videos to support next‑generation student services computing.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain e‑learning modules, user guides, presentations, and micro‑learning videos for enterprise systems.
- Collaborate with the Elevate team and campus stakeholders, contributing to project workstreams and ensuring timely delivery.
- Provide facilitation and training sessions, delivering complex technical information to diverse audiences.
Required profile
- Three or more years of experience in instructional design or training development, preferably in a higher‑education environment.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a fast‑moving project team.
- Willingness to work evenings, nights, weekends, or alternate shifts as needed.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Camtasia, Articulate, and Snag‑it for content creation.
- Familiarity with Workday or similar large enterprise systems.
What we offer
- Fixed‑term contract with an annual salary range of $83,200 – $99,840.
