Assistant or Associate Professor of Architecture (Faculty)

About the role

The LSU School of Architecture seeks applicants for a full‑time, nine‑month position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor with expertise in advanced architectural design. The successful candidate will teach graduate and undergraduate design studios and lecture/seminar courses, and collaborate with colleagues across LSU.

Key responsibilities

• Teach graduate and undergraduate design studios and lecture/seminar courses in advanced architectural design.
• Collaborate with colleagues across LSU and the College of Art & Design on research, program development, and governance.

Required profile

• Demonstrated record of design practice, teaching, and/or research in building and architectural design.
• Evidence of teaching effectiveness, scholarship, innovative practice, communication skills, and collegiality.
• Minimum qualification: Master of Architecture degree or equivalent.
