Assistant Community Manager at Parkside Apartments

About the role

The Assistant Community Manager supports daily operations at Parkside Apartments, a 254‑unit garden‑style community near downtown Eugene. The role blends resident service, financial processing, and team collaboration to maintain a vibrant, well‑run property.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and post rent, fees, and other payments, prepare daily bank deposits and process invoices and payables.
• Stay current on rent assistance policies from federal, state, and local agencies.
• Assist the leasing team with virtual and in‑person apartment tours.
• Review and submit vendor, contractor, and service provider invoices for payment.
• Process resident move‑outs, ensuring lease terms and legal requirements are met.
• Respond promptly to resident questions, concerns, and service requests.
• Partner with the on‑site office and marketing teams to create safe, socially‑distanced resident activities.
• Act as on‑site supervisor in the Community Manager’s absence.

Required profile

• Previous property management experience (fee management preferred).
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite; familiarity with Yardi/OneSite is highly desired.
• Financially savvy with experience in budgeting and fiscal reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• High school diploma or equivalent with solid business knowledge.
