Assistant Community Manager – Artisan

About the role

The Assistant Community Manager – Artisan supports the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational aspects of Village of Escaya. This full‑time position handles accounting tasks, rent collection, invoice processing, and uses property‑management software to keep the community’s financial records accurate.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and post rent, fees, and other payments; prepare daily bank deposits and reconcile accounts.
• Operate Yardi/OneSite software, entering transactions accurately and maintaining system integrity.
• Review resident files for unpaid balances, communicate with residents, and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue.
• Process vendor invoices, obtain manager approval, code charges, and coordinate with accounting and owners.
• Assist with eviction procedures, including notice requirements and court representation.
• Manage resident move‑outs, applying appropriate fees and processing dispositions.
• Act as on‑site supervisor in the manager’s absence, delegating work and coordinating maintenance tasks.
• Support leasing efforts by greeting prospects, showing apartments, and assisting with applications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Communications, or related field preferred.
• 1‑3 years of experience in residence life or property management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Yardi Voyager, OneSite, Entrata, or similar property‑management platforms.
• Experience using CRM and Funnel tools.
• Competence in internet, word‑processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a golf cart on the property.
