Asistente de Finanzas Operativas (Temporal 6 meses)

About the role

The Fin Ops Associate will support Maersk’s operational finance team in Lima by ensuring timely settlement of transportation services and generating purchase orders for suppliers. This is a six‑month temporary position focused on maintaining accurate cost control and compliance within the logistics chain.

Key responsibilities

• Settle transportation, depot, bundle and related services within established deadlines.
• Create purchase orders for supplier payments.
• Respond to supplier and client inquiries, handling observations and issues.
• Coordinate with internal departments to guarantee correct invoicing and payment processing.
• Use internal systems such as Microsoft Dynamics and SLS for cost tracking and reporting.
• Prepare expense reports and operational follow‑up documents.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies, compliance standards and safety requirements.
• Collaborate with teams including CX, Finance, PTP, OTC, Depot and Operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum of one year experience in billing, finance or administrative roles.
• Basic knowledge of payment vouchers and financial processes.
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel.
• Intermediate level of English.
