Area Manager – Floor (Fashion & Retail Operations)

About the role

The Area Manager – Floor leads the day‑to‑day operations of a multi‑department retail floor, overseeing fashion, import, jewelry, returns, and regional initiatives. You will drive performance, ensure safety and quality standards, and foster a culture of belonging for all associates.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate goals, staffing plans, and schedules to teams and stakeholders.
• Implement business plans, monitor productivity, and analyze business reports.
• Maintain quality, safety, and compliance through training and policy enforcement.
• Identify and resolve associate, customer, or supplier concerns.
• Supervise, develop, and evaluate associates and leaders, handling hiring, promotions, and coaching.
• Promote Walmart values, integrity, and a regenerative mindset across the area.
