Architect (licensed) – Missoula or Bozeman

About the role

We are seeking a licensed Architect to join our Missoula or Bozeman office. You will independently drive the planning, design, and delivery of a variety of architectural projects while providing technical leadership to project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead projects from concept through construction, ensuring high‑quality outcomes.
• Manage small project teams, reviewing work for standards compliance and providing guidance.
• Prepare and coordinate architectural drawings and BIM models across all project phases.
• Develop schematic and design development concepts in collaboration with senior leadership.
• Translate client goals into clear design visions and original solutions.
• Review work for compliance with building codes, zoning, and quality standards.
• Coordinate consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary internal teams.

Required profile

• NAAB‑accredited Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• Current architectural license/registration.
• 8+ years of progressive architectural experience with increasing responsibility.
• Strong verbal, written, and graphic communication abilities.
• Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage time, and meet deadlines with minimal oversight.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong understanding of building codes, zoning requirements, and construction methods.
• Experience creating and managing BIM models.
