Analytics Engineer – People Data

About the role

LinkedIn is looking for an Analytics Engineer focused on People data to design, build, and maintain the semantic layer and data pipelines that support HR reporting and strategic decision‑making. The position is hybrid, combining remote work with days in one of LinkedIn’s US offices (Sunnyvale, Mountain View, San Francisco, or New York).

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement ETL processes that translate business logic into reusable, governed data assets.
• Support, maintain, and scale the existing HR Data Warehouse to meet evolving business needs.
• Develop enterprise‑level data programs that enable self‑service analytics for multiple personas.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, data dictionaries, and transformation specifications.
• Extract, clean, and organize data from multiple HR systems using SQL to deliver accurate dashboards and analytics.
• Collaborate with Talent Engineering, data governance, and business stakeholder teams to advance data and reporting solutions.
