Data Entry Specialist

About the role

We are a technology firm based in New York City looking for a Data Entry Specialist to join our team on a short‑term contract. You will support the testing and validation of new internal tools by processing large volumes of structured data with precision.

Key responsibilities

• Execute high‑volume, repeatable data processing tasks while maintaining accuracy.
• Support testing and validation of AI‑assisted internal tools.
• Provide feedback on tool performance and flag discrepancies.
• Utilize spreadsheets and document‑based workflows to extract, validate, and record information.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to address blockers and ensure consistent throughput.
• Adhere to project guidelines and meet all deadlines within the engagement window.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science degree.
• At least 2 years of experience in data entry or high‑volume data processing.
• Strong written communication skills for reporting issues.
• Detail‑oriented, process‑driven, and able to sustain focus on repetitive tasks.
• Reliable and proactive in addressing uncertainties.

What we offer

• 3‑month contract with possible extension.
• Hybrid work model: 1 day onsite in NYC, 4 days remote.
• Pay rate of $20 per hour.
• Standard office hours: Monday‑Friday, 9 am‑6 pm.
