Airport Operations Crew (International)

About the role

The Airport Operations Crew delivers award‑winning customer service at the airport, handling check‑in, luggage, flight announcements and cabin preparation while ensuring safety and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service, including check‑in, ID verification and luggage handling.
• Make public address announcements for arrivals, departures and boarding.
• Assist customers with special needs and coordinate boarding and deplaning.
• Prepare aircraft cabins, operate jet bridges, airstairs and other airport equipment.
• Maintain safety standards, handle ad‑hoc requests and support other airport departments.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED; at least 18 years old.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service, sales or volunteer experience.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Spanish.
• Valid visa to work in the United States and ability to obtain a SIDA badge.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including holidays, weekends and occasional overnight travel.

Required skills

• Proficient computer operation (mouse, keyboard, word processing, email).
• Use of handheld radios and microphones for communication and announcements.
• Operation of public address systems and airport equipment such as jet bridges and airstairs.
• Ability to handle luggage up to 50 lb regularly and up to 100 lb occasionally.
