AEM Website Developer

About the role

The AEM Website Developer will design and implement digital experiences for University of Maryland Global Campus using Adobe Experience Manager. Reporting to the AEM Technical Architect, the role involves building components, ensuring smooth deployments, and transferring knowledge to client teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design scalable AEM solutions aligned with UMGC’s digital goals, including personalized student portals.
• Build custom components, templates, and workflows using HTL, Java, OSGi, and front‑end technologies such as React.
• Manage deployments, code reviews, testing, and performance optimization via Cloud Manager and dispatcher.
• Handle upgrades, migrations, and provide production support and documentation.
• Collaborate in Agile teams, mentor junior developers, and ensure secure integrations with MuleSoft and other systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3–5+ years of hands‑on AEM development, including at least 1 year with AEM as a Cloud Service.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and strong documentation skills.
