Advanced Practice Registered Nurse – Executive Medicine

About the role

The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) provides comprehensive medical care to executive health patients in an outpatient setting. The role involves independent assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and collaboration with physicians across multiple clinic locations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform age‑appropriate histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing.
• Prescribe pharmacologic and non‑pharmacologic treatments and order laboratory studies.
• Provide telemedicine consultations and in‑person visits, ensuring continuity of care.
• Coordinate patient transitions, referrals, and follow‑up across health‑care settings.
• Serve as a preceptor for new staff and contribute to quality‑assurance programs.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in a relevant nursing field.
• Valid State of Florida APRN license.
• Minimum two years of relevant clinical experience.
• Ability to exercise sound clinical judgment and work independently or within a multidisciplinary team.

Required skills

• Phlebotomy and venipuncture.
• Electrocardiogram (EKG) acquisition and interpretation.
• Vaccination and injection administration.
• Medication prescribing and management.
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) documentation and telemedicine platforms.
