Adult Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT) – PRN – Days or Nights

About the role

The Adult Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory care, oxygen therapy, diagnostic testing, and ventilation support to patients of all ages in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This PRN position offers flexible day or night shifts on Jeff Hwy.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, set up, and wean patients from oxygen therapy and artificial ventilation.
• Draw, analyze, and report arterial blood gases (ABG) and electrocardiograms (EKG).
• Deliver intermittent therapy, assist with airway changes, and perform diagnostic procedures.
• Document clinical information, educate patients and staff, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.

Required profile

• Current state license as a Respiratory Therapist.
• National Board certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) to be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Windows‑style applications and data‑entry software.
• Ability to perform ABG analysis and operate respiratory therapy equipment.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Strong interpersonal skills for patient interaction.
