About the role
The Bridge Operations Administrative Assistant supports the Public Health Institute’s Bridge program, which expands low‑barrier addiction treatment and sexual and reproductive health services. This full‑time, remote position primarily serves candidates in the San Francisco Bay Area, with occasional travel to Oakland, CA.
Key responsibilities
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including the primary Bridge phone line and email inbox.
- Coordinate printing, assembly, distribution, and inventory of program materials.
- Oversee calendar management for the program, scheduling meetings, events, and travel for leadership and staff.
- Support event planning, document filing, and financial processes such as expense reporting.
- Provide basic technical assistance to staff and navigate internal cloud‑based systems.
Required profile
- Minimum of 4 years of administrative or support experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong organizational, time‑management, and communication skills.
- Ability to work core business hours in the Pacific Time Zone.
- Interest in public‑health and social‑justice issues is a plus.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
- Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Adobe Acrobat.
- Mac OS familiarity.
- Experience with Zoho, Slack, and Zoom (preferred).
