Adjunct Nursing Instructor (Part‑Time)

About the role

Atlanta Technical College seeks a qualified Adjunct Instructor to teach nursing courses on a part‑time basis. The position involves classroom and clinical instruction, student advising, and participation in college activities.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver daily instruction in both classroom and clinical settings following approved curricula.
• Develop lesson outlines, testing procedures, and maintain accurate grade books and records.
• Advise and counsel students, assist with recruitment and job placement, and keep advisement records.
• Maintain classrooms and laboratories according to college management plans.
• Participate in meetings, committees, and contribute to reports for the Georgia Board of Nursing.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited institution.
• At least three years of clinical experience in acute care, OB, pediatrics, medical‑surgical or emergency settings.
• Valid Georgia RN licensure and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Knowledge of human pathophysiology and current nursing procedures.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computers and job‑related software programs.
• Experience using student information systems.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
