Accounting & Consolidation Senior Manager

About the role

ACCIONA Energía seeks a senior leader to manage accounting, accounts payable and treasury functions, reporting to the CFO. The role ensures accurate financial close, reporting, consolidations and internal controls across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual close processes, including journal entries, accruals and reconciliations.
• Oversee general ledger, intercompany transactions, fixed assets, lease accounting and tax equity structures.
• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements, management reports and variance analyses.
• Develop and maintain accounting, AP and treasury policies, procedures and internal controls.
• Manage accounts payable operations and treasury activities, including cash forecasting and banking relationships.
• Partner with FP&A on budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Coordinate internal, external and tax audits.
• Lead, coach and develop the finance team and drive process automation and ERP enhancements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of corporate accounting experience with strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS.
• 3–5 years of people‑management experience.
• Renewable‑energy or international project accounting experience preferred.
• CPA certification and public‑accounting background preferred.

Required skills

• Hands‑on SAP experience.
• Strong proficiency with ERP systems.

• Base salary $150,000‑$185,000 per year plus a 15% annual performance bonus.
