Account Manager, Food Channel OTC

About the role

Alcon is seeking an Account Manager for the Food Channel OTC segment to drive growth of its vision‑care portfolio in the United States. The role combines CPG sales leadership with deep knowledge of grocery and food‑retail environments, focusing on trade investments, broker networks, and data‑driven category expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed sales targets while managing trade‑spending budgets.
• Develop and execute strategic plans for food‑retail accounts, including pricing, promotions, distribution, and shelf placement.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, brokers, and internal stakeholders.
• Identify new business opportunities and innovative sales models.
• Manage broker networks to ensure effective regional account coverage.
• Protect and enhance Alcon brand equity across the OTC vision‑care category.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant sales experience in CPG, grocery, or food‑retail channels.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
• Willingness to be based in the East or Central United States.
