Account Director, One Horizon (Temporary)

About the role

ONE, Horizon Media's full-service creative agency, is looking for an Account Director for its One Horizon account. The role oversees the health and growth of key client relationships while ensuring high-quality work across all initiatives, supports strategy development and manages cross-functional teams. It reports to the Group Account Director or SVP of Client Services (TBD).

Key responsibilities

• Client relationship management: build trusting relationships with day-to-day and senior clients, maintain satisfaction, define expectations, manage changing priorities and deadlines, identify organic growth opportunities and prepare proposals for incremental work.
• Project oversight and execution: oversee daily client work, translate goals into actionable plans, monitor timelines, scopes and budgets, partner with strategic leads on presentations and contribute to annual planning and forecasting.
• Team leadership: supervise and mentor junior team members such as Account Managers and Account Executives, delegate effectively and foster a collaborative, inclusive environment.
• Cross-functional collaboration: work with strategy, creative, media and analytics leads, escalate issues to leadership and stay informed on industry trends and marketing innovations.

Required profile

• Strategic thinker and relationship-builder comfortable owning client conversations and projects end to end.
• Effective written and verbal communicator with strong presentation skills.
• Experienced in managing and mentoring junior talent.
• Adaptable to deadlines, shifting priorities and feedback loops, curious about the industry and committed to learning.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required.
