About the role
The 3rd Shift Material Handler is responsible for moving products within the warehouse or manufacturing facility, using both manual methods and powered industrial equipment. This role supports inventory flow and ensures timely loading and unloading of deliveries.
Key responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet trucks, operator‑up units and tuggers to move materials as required.
- Pull inventory, load and unload trucks, and stage products in designated locations.
- Inspect equipment for defects each shift and report issues per OSHA regulations.
- Follow standard work instructions and safety procedures while maintaining productivity.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED.
- Successful completion of the company’s powered industrial equipment certification.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, and maintain good attendance.
- Willingness to learn new tasks and work well with others.
Required skills
- Forklift operation certification.
- Use of pallet trucks and tuggers.
- Basic computer proficiency; SAP knowledge preferred.
