Shipping Material Handler - 1st Shift

About the role

As a Shipping Material Handler on the 1st shift, you will ensure smooth movement of products and materials within the warehouse and manufacturing facility. You will operate powered industrial equipment to pull inventory, load and unload trucks, and stage items for production.

Key responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, pallet trucks, operator‑up machines and tuggers to move materials as required.
• Pull inventory, load and unload product deliveries, and stage them in designated locations.
• Inspect equipment for defects before each shift and report issues.
• Follow standard work instructions and safety procedures, including OSHA compliance.
• Maintain attendance, productivity, and teamwork while completing assigned tasks.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• Successful completion of the company’s powered industrial equipment certification program.
• Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
• Basic computer literacy; prior SAP knowledge is a plus.
