1st Shift Assembler - Lawn and Garden Equipment

About the role

TTI Consumer Power Tools, Inc. is hiring Assemblers for its day shift in the Anderson, South Carolina manufacturing department. The Assembler constructs, assembles, tests and prepares outdoor lawn and garden equipment, including gasoline-powered and battery-powered products such as lawn mowers, blowers, generators, attachments and related components. The position supports a steady flow of production while keeping the highest standards of safety, quality, productivity and on-time delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble parts, components, subassemblies and finished products using hand, power and pneumatic tools.
• Read and interpret work instructions, drawings, diagrams, photographs and sketches.
• Align, fit and secure parts to required specifications and tolerances.
• Perform assembly operations on mechanical components and attachments.
• Use drills, torque wrenches, pneumatic tools, gauges and test fixtures.
• Package, label and prepare finished goods for shipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area and follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous assembly or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and to lift up to 50 pounds with or without assistance.
• Manual dexterity to operate tools and equipment.
• Internal qualifications: no final warnings, no more than 6 attendance points, efficiency and quality goals met for the previous 3 months, and 6+ months in the current role.

• Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and quality, mechanical aptitude and teamwork skills.
