Website Design Lead

About the role

Edgar Allan, an award‑winning Webflow Enterprise Partner, is seeking a Website Design Lead to translate client brands into high‑performing web experiences. The role reports to the VP of Experience Design and is fully remote, requiring at least six hours of daily overlap with Eastern Time.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the creative quality from concept through launch, partnering with Strategy, Technology, and Brand teams.
• Drive client workshops, design reviews, and presentations, building trust and influencing business outcomes.
• Design AI‑native experiences using generative tools, AI features, and ensure they align with brand standards.
• Prototype and build with developers using Figma, Webflow, and AI‑assisted code tools, maintaining responsive, accessible, and performant sites.
• Own engagement scope, timeline, and budget health, coordinating cross‑functional teams to meet outcomes.
• Mentor and guide the design team, set creative direction, and uphold design system standards.

Required profile

• 7+ years designing brand‑led websites and marketing landing pages, with at least 2 years leading projects or designers.
• Strong client‑facing experience and polished English communication skills.
• Availability for a minimum of six hours daily overlap with Eastern Time.

Required skills

• Expert‑level Figma, including design systems, variables, and tokens.
• Proficiency with Webflow or similar no‑code/low‑code platforms (certification a plus).
• Working knowledge of HTML/CSS, responsive layout, CMS structures, and web performance.
• Experience using generative AI tools for research, concepting, and prototyping.
• Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2 AA).
