Warehouse Shift Lead

About the role

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) is seeking a Warehouse Shift Lead to join its cleaning and concierge team. This full‑time, permanent position works varied day and night shifts, including weekends, and offers a competitive hourly wage.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of cleaners in a complex, task‑oriented warehouse environment.
• Provide direct support to the Maintenance Operations Center and Field Operations teams, handling escalations promptly and accurately.
• Clean rooms, hallways, bathrooms, locker rooms, offices, stairways, break rooms and other work areas as needed.
• Follow the cleaning supervisor’s task flowchart and manage shift schedules to meet daily operational goals.
• Coordinate call support, split shifts among team members, and ensure smooth handovers.
• Provide feedback on ongoing activities and report escalations to KBS management.

Required profile

• Preferably experienced in cleaning operations within distribution centers.
• At least 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Ability to adhere to OSHA requirements, safety guidelines, and forklift instructions.
• Positive, customer‑service oriented attitude.
• Capability to read and interpret safety rules, operation manuals and chemical handling documents (English and Spanish).
• Successful completion of KBS background check and drug test.
